The Group/Team Hierarchy

Most churches usually have more than one single team that operates within it to facilitate music or worship. In order to organize these team's separate activities, yet keep the teams coordinated under a larger group, WorshipTeam.com has created a group/team hierarchy.  This simply means that a group can contain any number of teams. As we said, there are many types of teams- Sunday morning worship teams, youth worship teams, and the list goes on.  Here is an example of what this might look like in a local church.

In this diagram, a local church contains a few teams, which in turn contain members in each team.

In WorshipTeam.com, each team that you create can have one or more administrators.   Team administrators can invite/remove team members to their teams. The account group itself can have a group administrator. Group administrators can invite/remove people from the group itself, and can also create and assign new teams and administrators to those teams.  WorshipTeam.com allows you to assign any member to any team or group, which is the way real life works- Bob may play bass on the Sunday morning worship team, while still helping lead worship in the youth on Wednesday nights.  In Bob's case, his workspace will allow him access to both teams- in his Sunday morning team role, he will simply be a team member.  In his youth worship team role, he may be assigned as the administrator of that team, so that he can select and schedule the songs lists and people that he is leading.
