Tour Stop 7 - Sets

One of the most important concepts in WorshipTeam.com is a set.  A set is simply a collection of items that a worship team can use.  Most often this can be used to develop such things as an order of service, a worship plan or a song list.  While sets can contain songs, instructions, text or even documents, for our introductory tour, we will focus on a worship list that contains a small number of songs.

Sets, like every construct in WorshipTeam.com, is related to a specific group/team context in which it is created.  Everyone who is a member of that specific group or team may view, listen or print a set that has been created.  Group or team administrators are the ones allowed to create, edit and schedule a set.

The functionality surrounding sets is very extensive, allowing both the users and the administrators a great amount of flexibility and functionality in their use.  Yet using sets need not be complicated at all.  In fact, creating one takes on a few mouse clicks.  The same can be said for viewing, playing, practicing with or printing a set.

For most worship leaders, the concept of a set is nothing new.  They have been creating new worship lists and song sets probably once a week (or more) for many years.  We have designed sets with that in mind- the goal was to remove the workload from the process and allow you to develop a perfect set quickly.

This brief tour will only browse over the basics of a set, but seeing the power of it, you will likely want to jump in and create one quickly.  Feel free to do so!  Creating, editing, even deleting sets is quick and easy to do. Experiment and have fun.  Since you are working in your own workspace using WorshipTeam.com, you can't hurt anything, so don't be afraid to try out all the options.

That said, in this short tour of sets, we will look at the following over of set functionality:
